Small horsehair pad circa mid-late 19th century, likely used as a bustle pad or hip pad.

Cotton stuffed tightly with horse hair into a firm roll with cotton ties.

Machine and hand sewn.

Pad is approximately 9" x 2.5" and total waist including ties is 28.5"

Good condition overall with some discoloration and wear. Some of the horsehair stuffing is poking out in a few places.

This item is not new, and as such, it has wear commensurate with age. As with all older vintage and antique items, please handle with care.
