Beautiful, large Pietra Dura (hardstone mosaic) brooch in a 14k gold rectangular frame circa 19th century.

They are most commonly found in round frames, so I like the uniqueness of this piece depicting a white lily.

The back has a hook on which to hang a watch (or perhaps another ornament).

Unmarked but tests as 14k gold.

There is minor wear and hairline fractures in the stone, but there are no loose pieces and everything is secure
